Welcome to the Saint John Astronomy Club


Meeting Cancelled - The meeting scheduled to be held for January 2, 2010 has been cancelled due to inclement weather. It will be rescheduled as part of the RASC NB meeting schedule in Saint John at 1:00 PM on January 16, 2010.

	Please note, we have another new meeting location - Ganong Hall (Room 115), UNBSJ Campus. (see below for further directions) Welcome to the Saint John Astronomy Club. We meet the first Saturday of every month - long weekends usually excepted when we meet the following weekend. Map 1 is a map of the UNBSJ campus, and Ganong Hall is building 12. A and B label parking lots, and 1, 2, and 3 label doors. Door 1 is closest to the room, but doors 2 and 3 are more likely to be unlocked. Map2 is a map of streets near campus. Labels A, B, C, and D appear on both maps in order to show how the two maps align with each other. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm and generally runs 2 – 3 hours. The meetings are always informal and are open to anybody interested in talking about Astronomy. No experience necessary. We look forward to seeing you! The International Year Of Astronomy is upon us.
